The context for the role of the Warehouse Logistics Assistant is to organize and manage the warehouse according to Oberland’s environmental, social, operational and financial contexts and strategies.

Key Support Person: Manager of Procurement & Logistics

Functional Responsibilities / Job Duties:
Infrastructure - 100%
- Receive and inspect goods, ensuring all deliveries are accurate and in good condition.
- Prepare and ship orders according to customer specifications.
- Use warehouse management systems to record product entries and exits.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure record accuracy.
- Generate detailed invoices and reports on inventory status and shipments.
- Operate a forklift to move goods within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with other teams to optimize logistics processes and resolve operational issues.
- Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to safety standards.

Physical Requirements:

- Able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Valid Nova Scotia driver’s license with clean driving record

To be a great fit for this role you:

- Have 2-5 years in warehouse logistics or a related field.
- Have knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics software tools.
- Are able to conduct inventory counts and generate accurate reports.
- Have experience in operating a forklift.
- Are able to productively work independently and as part of a team.
- Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Have excellent attention to detail and ability to solve problems quickly.
