**AECOM**is seeking a BIM Specialist to support our **Digital Advisory**within the Water Business Line and be based out of Saskatoon, SK. As a member of the Prairies Region digital team, you will work with professionals in the Water Business line across Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba and with other business lines in the geography and around the world to advance AECOM’s global digital strategies and projects.
As a BIM Specialist your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing the current BIM state and maturity of digital and design on projects
- Team development and mentoring
- Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content.
- Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements.
- Work with linear and vertical design teams to develop BIM standards and specifications
**Qualifications**
**Minimum requirements**
- Executing multi discipline design projects within BIM360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Bachelor’s degree + 4years of experience or engineering technologist diploma + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including BIM leadership in the water and wastewater AEC space.
- Extensive experience with Revit, Civil3D and or Plant3D
- Working knowledge of MicroStation
**Preferred requirements**
- Experience with Automated design using Dynamo, Orkestra
- Critical thinking to identify issues, present solutions and follow through to ensure completion.
- Experience in executing design water or waste water plant design
- Digital Twin and IoT Integration
