**The Role**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain client and vendor relations
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers
- Understand the complex needs of different events, and diverse clients
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
- Execute, manage and oversee events on the day of, including welcoming guests, problem-solving, communicating with staff, and organizing vendors
- Plan and execute event logistics for Grouse Mountain-hosted events. This will include working with cross-functional teams, coordinating volunteers, booking vendors, coordinating promotional material with Marketing, and day-of execution
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of post-secondary degree or diploma
- Experience in event planning an asset
- Work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high demand environment, managing the logistics of multiple events simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail orientated and extremely organized with time management skills
- Committed work ethic; positive work attitude
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work evening, weekend and statutory holidays, when required
