The Dietary Aide is primarily responsible for duties related to (but not limited to) the serving of all menu items to our residents, maintenance of unit specific product inventory levels, washing dishes, setting, clearing, cleaning, and sanitizing of resident dining and service areas, sanitation of food delivery tools and equipment with a clear focus on resident satisfaction. A clear understanding and practice of safe food handling and sanitation practices as specified through Aramark policies and procedures is required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performance of resident meal service delivery with the support of the foodservice team, in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Follows Job Routines closely - as posted in the kitchen
- Proper setting of resident tables including condiments as required
- Clearing and cleaning of resident dining tables and chairs and service areas
- Clearing, cleaning and washing of dishes used during meal service
- Implementation and practice of established safe food handling and sanitation procedures
- Sanitation of service implements including steam well, tools and equipment
- Inventory and replenishment of unit specific supplies (Stocking & FIFO)
- Attentive care and consideration of resident, staff and visitors requests
- Other related duties as required (ie: Temperature/Food/Waste/Dish machine Audits)
- Attend mandatory training and departmental meetings

**Qualifications**:

- High School Graduation
- Post-secondary education is an asset (Culinary or Dietetic)
- Nutrition Certificate
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Food Safety Training
- GHS Certification
- Minimum 1 years experience in Hospitality
- Experience is preferred
- Must be a team player and comfortable in a dynamic work environment, and a flexible work schedule
- Attend all Mandatory Training Sessions
- Juice dispenser, Dish Machine, Chemical Dispenser, Coffee Machine (equipment)
