As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities by delivering personalized care and companionship. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and providing emotional support to clients.

**PLEASE READ**:
Shift times:
9:00 am - 12:00pm (Mondays and Fridays)
9:00am-11:00am (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Weekends)
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm (Everyday)

**Responsibilities**
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living environment.
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Provide dementia care as needed, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for clients experiencing memory loss.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of all clients at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in caregiving or home care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of assisted living practices and patient care techniques is beneficial.
- Familiarity with senior care principles, including those relevant to nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks effectively while ensuring a safe environment for clients.
- Willingness to undergo any necessary training related to caregiving practices, including dementia care techniques.
