_**In the context of the Canadian market, we are looking for a Senior Product Specialist with our Montreal-based Canadian subsidiary. As a true Account Manager, you will oversee the coordination of sales and customer partnership management activities in direct contact with customers and prospects and in relation with our internal Marketing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Production teams.**_
**You will be highly active with large blood processing solutions customers in Canada, part of a small team, under the leadership of the Country Manager for Canada.**
**Your main activities will be**:
- Become a technical expert on our products and services to optimize market coverage and business development. This includes some technical support, market analysis, targeting and positioning of our products vs. competitors, support on Marketing activities in the field.
- Account management with our main large customers. Adapt products, services and solutions to our customers to anticipate needs and optimize business.
- Work collaboratively locally with Country Manager, technical service, quality/regulatory.
- Coordinate tender responses, help with product implementation at customer sites.
- Coordinate Materiovigilance activities in accounts where our blood processing solutions are in use.
- Build a strong internal network of resources to help you in your duties, among our Marketing, R&D, Materiovigilance, Technical Service, Legal teams.
- Build a strong network of partners within the main large customers with which you will be working; with management, purchasing, operations (blood collection and processing), R&D.
**Expected Profile**:
You are a professional with a university degree in business or science (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or similar discipline).
Previous experience in healthcare or medical device industry is preferred, either in sales, business, or R&D role.
Experience in blood processing technologies is an asset but not mandatory.
In addition, you have these proven abilities:
- Analytical approach
- Ability to communicate in French and English, oral and written
- Capability to work in a small team, embracing cross-functional collaboration
- Flexibility: possibility to be called upon to support activities outside your standard job description or to participate in special projects.
- Capability to adapt to complex situations and changing landscape
Eventually, you are open to travel within Canada, occasionally to head office in France and in USA for conferences or scientific events.
