The British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (“BCCNM”) is the college empowered under the Health Professions Act to regulate the practice of all licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners, registered midwives, registered nurses, and registered psychiatric nurses in British Columbia. The expected starting base salary for this position is $108,078 to $113,482 annually, depending on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience. Once hired, you will progress through a wider salary range over time as you continue to develop job knowledge, skills and competencies for the role.

**What You’ll be Doing**:
Under the direction of the Director, Quality Assurance (Director, QA), the Quality Assurance Program Lead (QAP Lead) provides day-to-day operational oversight of the BCCNM’s registrant Quality Assurance program. The QAP Lead provides work direction, guidance, mentorship and performance feedback to the QA program delivery team, manages complex operational scenarios as well as provides oversight of contract QA Assessors, ensuring day-to-day activities align with program goals, organizational priorities and support ongoing quality improvement.
The QAP Lead assesses, plans, develops, monitors and evaluates operational policies and procedures, and works with QA program and BCCNM staff to facilitate the implementation of QA program operational policies, procedures, business and system requirements.
**Key Responsibilities Include**:
- In collaboration with the Director, QA and QA Consultants, assesses, plans, develops, monitors and evaluates QA program operational policies, procedures, business and system requirements.
- In consultation with the Director, QA, provides training, work direction and oversight, delegates task and assists with problem resolution to QA program staff. Provides critical performance feedback to the Director.
- In consultation with the Director, QA, provides oversight of contract QA assessors for the peer practice review, including policies and procedures, facilitation of onboarding, off-boarding, contract management and performance feedback.
- Collaborates with QA program and other BCCNM staff to facilitate the implementation of QA program operational policies, procedures, business and system requirements.
- Works with QA program and BCCNM enabling teams to ensure organizational and program-level policies and accompanying business rules, and technology solutions are operationally feasible.
- In consultation with the Director, QA, leads initiatives related to QA program operations from start up through to completion. Ensures project parameters of scope, schedule, and quality are successfully delivered. Prepares appropriate reports, briefing notes and presentations.
