Collaborating closely with the Controller, you craft an annual budget, analyzing information and forecasting financial landscapes. The afternoon brings active participation in monthly meeting with Production Managers, reviewing spending, headcounts & upcoming capital investments to improve efficiency in the Plant. Amidst these tasks, you seize the opportunity to learn directly from the owners in weekly meetings, gaining invaluable insights into the company's strategic vision. Then, the spotlight shifts to a crucial task - assisting the Controller in the AX 365 migration, reviewing business processes for a seamless transition to the new system. As the day wraps, you get a call from the Fleet Manager asking for an updated review of the company’s fleet expenses to begin preparation for new Forklift purchases for the coming year. **In your role, your key responsibilities will include**: - Assist the controller in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and notes in the EF; - Assist the controller in the preparation of the annual budget jointly with the departmental directors; - Track and reconcile the fixed assets module; - Participate actively in the end-of-month and year-end process with the external auditors; - Assist the controller in various financial analyzes (inventory, sales, COGS, margin, insurance companies); - Assist the controller with the migration to AX 365; - Follow the "transfer pricing" for redistributed transactions in other legal entities; - Track prepaid fees, current properties, monthly installments; - Swing any form of auxiliary (inventory, AP, AR, sale); - Reassessment of payable, receivable, bank account in other currencies; - Validation of pay; - Calculate commissions; - Calculate and track monthly provisions; - Redistribute costs shared between sister companies. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in administration, accounting option; - Hold an accounting title (CPA) (an asset); - 1-3 years accounting experience; - Previous experience as an assistant-controller, an asset; - Experience in the manufacturing field (an asset); - Bilingualism (English and French) both orally and in writing (English is necessary to serve our clients in the United States); - Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX (an asset); - Advanced Excel Proficiency; - Excellent analytical skills; - Great organization skills and ability to respect deadlines; - Team player and autonomous.
