The job purpose is to assist the quality control team in many duties, which include: inspection of raw materials, product reworks, labeling and GMP inspection, participation in annual audits and enforce good manufacturing practices inspections upon receiving products. We also ask the incumbent of this position to be a backup for the quality control technicians (receiving and production) if needed.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Assist in raw materials inspection to ensure that they are free of defects and produced according to internal specifications and external guidelines.
- Transport the raw materials from warehouse to the inspection room for inspection and vice versa.
- Prepare and take samples for laboratory analysis.
- Carry out the various quality control tests on raw materials.
- Carry out random sensory evaluation on stored products.
- Responsible to inspect the facility (building inspection) based on a monthly frequency
- Perform warehouse GMP inspection.
- Assist in product reworks and labelling.
- Assist in non-conformities follow up
- Back-up to the QC Technicians (Production and receiving).
- Carry out all other tasks related to quality control at the request of the immediate supervisor.

**Qualifications**
- DEC or AEC in food processing or a relevant field
- Experience of 1 year in a relevant position acquired in the Food industry.
- Proficient in French and English (oral, written).
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask, to work individually and within a team.
- **Physical requirements: being able to walk up/down the stairs, lift products weighing between 5 and 22.5 kg on a regular basis.**

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
