**What would my role be?**

Reporting to Manager, Assisted & Enhanced Living Program, you will be responsible for enhancing the quality of life of the Assisted Living High Risk Seniors tenants within the Bruyère Health Village and the Adult Day Program.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assist the tenants with their daily care living needs, meal preparation, light house cleaning duties and organizing recreational activities for the tenants.
- Be accountable for the medication cuing for the tenants and document and communicate changes in behavior or medical status.
- Work independently and within a team environment and will require strong organizational and time management skills.

**How do I qualify?**

Required:

- Two (2) year Community college diploma in Development Support Worker or a combination of a Social Service Worker - Gerontology diploma and Personal Support Worker Certificate deemed equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in relevant role.
- Experience working with older adults.
- Experience and knowledge of working with people with dementia.
- Experience with medication reminders and cueing.
- Experience in caring for clients in the community (meal preparation, house cleaning and other related tasks).
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certificate.
- Fluent in French and English.
