**Job Description:Summary**:
As a Network Infrastructure Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of network servers, ensuring the efficient flow of data through the organization's infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include racking network servers, passing network cables, and tracing optic cables to optimize network performance.

**Key Responsibilities:Rack Network Servers**:
Perform the installation and configuration of network servers within server racks.Ensure proper organization and labeling of server components for ease of maintenance.Network Cable Installation:Professionally pass and organize network cables to establish seamless connectivity.Collaborate with team members to ensure cable management best practices are maintained.Optic Cable Tracing:Trace and troubleshoot optic cables to identify and resolve connectivity issues promptly.Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to verify cable integrity and signal strength.

**Quality Assurance**:
Conduct thorough testing of network installations to guarantee reliability and optimal performance.Document and report any issues or discrepancies found during the installation process.

**Collaboration**:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align network infrastructure projects with organizational goals.Provide technical support and collaborate with IT teams during server and network-related initiatives.

**Safety Compliance**:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with network equipment and cabling.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all network infrastructure activities.

**Qualifications**:
Proven experience in racking network servers and organizing server components.Proficiency in passing and organizing network cables, demonstrating knowledge of cable management best practices.Familiarity with tracing optic cables and troubleshooting connectivity issues.Strong understanding of network infrastructure and related technologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Data center: 7 years (preferred)
- Network installation: 7 years (preferred)
- cabling: 5 years (preferred)
- Cabinet installation: 4 years (preferred)
- Racking Network Server: 8 years (preferred)
- passing network cable: 7 years (preferred)
- Tracing optic cable: 7 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CompTIA Network+ (preferred)
- CCNA (preferred)
- Certified Data Center professional (preferred)
