Job Summary

As an On-Call Data Center Technician, you will be an integral part of our team, providing essential support for data center operations on behalf of our clients. You will work on an on-call basis, assisting with equipment storage, staging, hardware deliveries, replacements, and troubleshooting as needed.

Key Responsibilities

On-call availability to respond to equipment staging and delivery requests. Safely and securely store and stage IT hardware and equipment. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of hardware to client sites. Perform hardware replacements and upgrades in data center environments.

Troubleshoot and diagnose faulty equipment to minimize downtime. Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in data center operations. Keep detailed records of equipment movements, issues, and resolutions. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective support.

RequirementsProven experience as a Data Center Technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of data center equipment, IT hardware, and associated technologies. Ability to work on an on-call basis and respond to urgent requests. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with data center safety procedures and protocols. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility and adaptability to changing work schedules. Physical fitness to handle equipment and perform tasks within data center environments.
