Fire Alarm Technician

**EVENING SHIFT POSITION (approx. 3-11pm)**

Inspections, repairs, and verification of fire alarm systems and other fire/life safety equipment including emergency lighting systems.

**Requirements**:
Valid G driver’s license

Evening shifts required

Able to use drills and hand tools

Confident use of computers, Microsoft Excel, Word.

Will need to write reports

Excellent work safety record

Well organized

Clear verbal and written communication skills in English

Exceptional customer service skills

Possess a clean, well groomed presentation to customers

Works well with others and follows directions

Ability to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and routine details

Takes initiative and is self motivated

Some work may require heavy lifting

Valid police check will be required upon hiring

**Assets**: post-secondary in related field or enrollment in the CFAA program. WHIMIS, Lock-out tag-out, fall arrest, first aid are all assets

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- Automobile allowance

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
