**Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life**:

- Enhances maintenance efficiency by removing delays and obstacles through effective planning of spare parts, materials, and equipment.
- Fosters a safe working environment and promotes safe work practices.
- Plans tasks for quality and efficiency, contributing to the optimal use of the maintenance budget.
- Identifies material needs and parts locations.
- Develops and maintains a repository of best practices (safe work procedures, work instructions, etc.).
- Manages and continuously reviews the work order backlog, ensuring work requests are processed correctly.
- Participates in the scheduling of work orders.
- Ensures the availability of critical spare parts and serves as a resource for identifying spare parts.
- Identifies and communicates potential recurring equipment issues to maintenance leadership.
- Supervises external contractors and conducts follow-ups to ensure satisfactory completion of required work.

**What You Bring**:

- Minimum college diploma: university degree in is preferred; Journeyperson’s ticket is a significant asset
- 5 - 8 years of experience in a food manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with conveyors, high-speed slicers, pumps/compressors, and electrical/electronic controls
- Experience with meat processing, curing, smoking, slicing, grinding, forming, and packaging
- Must have good trouble shooting skills to pin point root causes.
- Understanding of pipe fitting practices and steam piping systems
- Proficient in vacuum systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with contractors and other Reliability personnel
- Willingness to undertake additional duties as assigned
- A highly organized individual capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP is preferred.
- Highly results oriented, extremely organized, and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities
- Must be highly adaptable to constant change and comfortable in a very fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of GMPs, food safety development and health & safety requirements.
- Knowledge of contract development and execution
- Proven capability to provide technical leadership to business and operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills at all levels
