We are one of Canada’s leading Foreign Currency Exchange companies. We are seeking an individual for the position of Customer Services Representative (CSR). As a CSR you will be required to work in a fast paced environment, as we experience high influx of walk in customers. Hence over the counter dealing has to be fluid, accurate whilst ensuring that each customer in given an exclusive and personalized solution in a pleasant manner.

**Major job responsibilities include**:
1. Daily check major currency rates and decide what rate would be the best.

2. Take customer calls; address their queries for buying and selling currencies and offer them the best rate.

3. Providing a pleasant customer service experience to clients in accordance with company standards.

4. Conduct currency exchange transactions for walk-in customers at the branch, ensure a smooth experience.

5. Pitching to customers who call in and walk-in.

6. Staying up to date with regulatory requirements and ensure that all transactions and procedures are conducted in accordance to these requirements.

7. Reconcile available cash/ currencies available in the system at day end and add it to google sheets inventory of counter Burnaby.

8. Pick and drop currencies from local vendors in accordance to procedures set by the Company.

9. Make sure that we have enough currencies to accommodate all the requirements we might receive.

10. Prepare and Order all the currencies required for the counter.

11. Daily reporting to Head office.

12. Balancing and reconciling cash flow at the start & end of the shift.

13. Assisting with opening & closing the branch.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum one year of prior work experience in retail banking or other foreign exchange experience.
- A dedicated, professional individual committed to industry-leading customer service standards.
- Must be friendly, energetic & enthusiastic, with a professional appearance.
- Must have strong communication skills and be able to thrive in a team environment.
- Computer literacy is a must.
- Comfortable with basic numerical calculations.
- Must be a high school graduate, University or College degree an asset.
- A background check will be required for this position.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
