**Ophthalmic Technician / Medical Office Assistant (MOA)**
Vancouver, BC | Full‑Time (35-40 hours per week)

Your Role:
**Ophthalmic Technician Responsibilities**
- Screen patients and collect medical histories
- Conduct pre-testing: tonometry, OCT, visual acuity, topography, IOP, pachymetry
- Perform diagnostic tests: visual fields, optical biometry
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain equipment and exam rooms
- Assist in minor procedures, and explain tests and results to patients

**Medical Office Assistant (MOA) Responsibilities**
- Manage referrals: triage, follow-up coordination, patient reminders
- Book appointments, assist the surgical coordinator, and manage scheduling
- Support accurate EMR documentation, patient check-ins, and front-desk workflow
- Handle administrative tasks: phone inquiries, inventory restocking, inter-office communications
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns.
