**Job description**

**_Artic Machinery Ltd_**. is a BC heavy machinery dealership based out of Prince George, BC with a secondary branch in Chilliwack, BC. We are the BC distributor for XCMG heavy equipment, the 3rd largest manufacturer of heavy equipment products worldwide. Their product line encompasses all major industries including forestry, mining, oil and gas, and civil works.

We have an immediate opening for a **_HEAVY EQUIPMENT PARTS PERSON_** to help us increase our sales revenues and maintain customer relationships. In this role, we seek outstanding organizational and customer service skills. We expect you to be an excellent communicator who understands customers needs. If you are also goal-driven and analytical, we’d like to meet you

Ultimately, you will ensure clients’ happiness and search for ways to grow our business.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Parts sourcing and purchasing

2. Counter sales

3. Communicating with various freight companies to organize shipments

5. Clearly and effectively communicate product features, benefits, and warranty policy to customers

6. Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed including coding, costing, and pricing

7. Prepare invoices and accept payments for counter sales

8. Oversee physical inventory counts

9. Work closely and keep in regular communication with Management

10. Uphold all applicable company Health and Safety Policies

11. Maintain and develop positive professional relationships with existing and potential customers and vendors

1. Local resident; or willing to relocate

2. Class 5 driver’s license, reliable vehicle and clean abstract is mandatory

3. Knowledge and experience in Heavy Equipment parts is a must

4. Must be capable of frequent lifting and moving of heavy boxes

5. Must be committed to maintaining a high degree of professionalism, possess a consistent work ethic and be safety oriented

6. Ability to work well on your own as well as part of a team

7. Organizational skills, high degree of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a high demands/needs environment

8. Knowledgeable in the use of computers (ie: Excel, Outlook)

Wage/salary dependent on experience

Must be able to work some Saturdays

- parts management: 1 year (preferred)
