**Position Overview**:
The Front of House Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operations related to the front of house, including bar management, food management, staff management, and labor tasks. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, a passion for customer service, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.

The position will also assist the retail manager and play a key role in event management.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Bar Management**:

- Oversee all bar operations, including menu development and bar inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and develop bar staff to maintain high service standards.
- Manage cleanliness and maintenance of the bar area.
- Generate revenue reports and analyze bar performance.

**Customer Relationship Management**:

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and feedback effectively.

**Event Leadership**:

- Lead and manage events to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other departments to plan and execute successful events.

**Food Management**:

- Oversee menu development and ensure the quality and presentation of all food items.
- Manage grocery orders to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Maintain vendor relations and negotiate contracts.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.

**Cost Control & Inventory Management**:

- Implement cost control measures to optimize expenses.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels efficiently.

**Staff Management**:

- Schedule part-time staff and oversee payroll.
- Conduct weekly bar tip-outs and ensure fair distribution.
- Train and develop front-of-house staff to provide excellent service.
- Maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Assist and manage retail portion of the business as required

**Labor Tasks**:

- Assist with labeling and production tasks as needed.
- Ensure that all production tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs as part of regular duties.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of bar and food management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Physical ability to perform labor tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Valid driver's license
- Occasional out of town work may be required

Pay: $40,000.00-$44,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
