**Team & Job Overview**

EDC is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated and resourceful Advisor for a contract on the ESG Reporting team.

Reporting to the Director, ESG Reporting in the ESG Integration Group, the Advisor will support the team with ESG-related reporting and disclosures, metrics collection, and will provide support for other corporate initiatives like the materiality assessment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide support in the annual ESG reporting process, which sees the publication of dedicated reports such as the Climate-related Disclosure, Human Rights Report, Sustainable Bond Impact Report and the United Nations Global Compact Report on Progress
- Connect with stakeholders and compile and synthesize information on ESG initiatives across the organization
- Research and provide analysis on measurement, disclosure requirements, standards and frameworks and industry trends
- Provide support for EDC’s materiality assessment to identify and understand the sustainability-related topics most relevant to our stakeholders
- Work with teams across EDC to increase employee awareness and engagement around ESG initiatives
- Create highly professional documents and Power Point presentations for a wide distribution of stakeholders, including executive committees and the Board of Directors
- Support corporate continuous-improvement initiatives using problem-solving and other related techniques
- Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills to build a network across the corporation, as well as effective time management and organizational skills to respond to ad hoc ESG-related requests

**Screening Criteria**
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in finance, sustainability or related discipline.
- Undergraduate degree in related discipline (e.g., business, accounting, sustainability, environmental studies).
- Understanding and knowledge of or experience with current reporting standards and frameworks, including GRI, SASB, UN SDGs, ISSB and TCFD.
- Knowledge of current ESG reporting trends and developments in the international ESG reporting standards space.
- Strong analytical and data management skills and experience.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills and capability to synthesize key information for senior level consumption.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, think critically, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to multi-task and prioritize, and ability to manage competing priorities and escalate issues effectively.

**Assets**
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
- Experience with financial accounting and reporting, or with financial or ESG assurance
- Experience in corporate sustainability and responsibility issues and their relevance to the financial services sector
- Understanding, knowledge and experience of emerging reporting standards and frameworks, such as ISSB S1 & S2, TNFD, or ESRD.
- Bilingual in both official languages (French and English)

**Compensation Details**:

- Advisor, ESG Integration (ESG Reporting & Measurement 17): Salaries typically range from $81,012 to $108,017 annually, based on qualifications and experiences.

**Location**
- Export Development Canada is a hybrid work environment.
- This role may be performed from EDC’s headquarters in Ottawa, or from the Community Hub in Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Laval, Brossard, Halifax, Calgary, or Vancouver.
