Bus Drivers are valuable members of the team who provide safe, efficient and punctual transportation of students. **Location**: Melville, Saskatchewan **Start Date**: September 4, 2025 **Salary Details**: In Accordance with the Current Board Approved DPEA Salary Schedule **Contact Details** Christine Hawley, Transportation Assistant (306) 786-5505 **Position Details**: Permanent Part Time **Route**: Mlv 4 - Melville North to Melville **The duties of a Bus Driver are to**: - Support safe, positive environments for students. - Ensure student transportation is provided with due regard for safety. - Provide supervision of students during transit and assist in supervision during boarding and unloading. - Keep students on the bus until regular school supervision is provided. - Other duties as assigned by the Principal or Transportation Manager and those listed in Job Description - Transportation: Bus Driver. - Minimum Grade 10 Education or equivalent - A valid driver’s license with "S" endorsement. - Clean drivers abstract. Applicants not currently working for GSSD will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record and vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
