Bus Drivers are valuable members of the team who provide safe, efficient and punctual transportation of students. **Location**: Grayson, SK **Term**: Commence as soon as possible, expire June 26, 2025 **Salary Details**: In Accordance with the Current Board Approved DPEA Salary Schedule **Contact Details** Christine Hawley, Transportation Assistant (306) 786-5505 **Position Details**: Temporary Part Time **Route**: Gsn 1 - Crooked Lake West into Grayson; Assigned Garage is Melville Bus Garage. **The duties of a Bus Driver are to**: - Support safe, positive environments for students. - Ensure student transportation is provided with due regard for safety. - Provide supervision of students during transit and assist in supervision during boarding and unloading. - Keep students on the bus until regular school supervision is provided. - Other duties as assigned by the Principal or Transportation Manager and those listed in Job Description Transportation: Bus Driver. - Minimum Grade 10 Education or equivalent - A valid drivers license with "S" endorsement. - Clean drivers abstract. Applicants not currently working for GSSD will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record and vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
