Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
**Mann Engineering is a design/build engineering firm primarily servicing the HVAC retrofit market with a focus on energy efficiency and renewable technology. Mann provides engineering, project management and in-house construction services to the multi-residential (apartments & condos), commercial, industrial, and institutional market sectors. Our primary market sector is multi-residential buildings.**
**Duties**:
- Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and participating in deliveries.
- Preparing and developing technical presentations, with support from the engineering team, to explain our company's products or services to customers.
- Collaborating with sales and engineering teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
- Helping customers who have problems with installed products
- Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
- Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
- Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas.
- Training other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.
- Online marketing and promotion
- Preparation of materials and presenting at condo board meetings.
- Attending trade shows and other promotional events.
- In-person sales, meeting with clients and attending events.
- Other tasks assigned by the management
**Requirements**:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or related field.
- Experience in sales and the technology field. Ideally familiar with building services and the condominium market.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
- The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Good leadership and teamwork skills.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Business development: 1 year (preferred)
