Bellamere Winery & Event Centre is looking for a part-time Event Supervisor to join our team.

- **The Role**_

As an Event Supervisor at Bellamere, your primary responsibility is to oversee the execution and service, ensuring weddings and events go off without a hitch This means you:

- Ensure that event operations run smoothly, prioritizing the comfort and safety of our guests
- Act as a welcoming and gracious host to all guests and team members
- Liaise between event management, kitchen and service staff
- Tend to and resolve guests' requests, questions, and complaints
- Ensure that the venue and facilities remain neat and clean
- Support with preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure all guests are served promptly and efficiently
- Be familiar with the menu, food and plating for the assigned function, including guest allergies
- Work according to all of Bellamere’s health and safety standards
- Support with other duties as may be required
- **What you bring to the table**_
- Two years of experience in restaurant and hospitality or related industry
- Experience in a supervisory role would be an asset
- Availability to work mid-week, weekends, evenings and holidays
- Reliable transportation to and from Bellamere
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Smart Serve Certification
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all staff
- Exceptional management expertise with events and staff members
- Experience in the coordination of food and drink service
- Able to take initiative and problem solve
- Able to work in a predominately standing position for long periods of time
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food or dishes when necessary
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes following Bellamere’s uniform policies

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

**Salary**: $20.55 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Night shift
