Operations Manager (Vancouver)

Reporting to the General Manager with accountabilities to the Management team the Operations Manager is responsible for leading a team of 5 department managers to ensure the overall success of production, warehousing, and distribution of company products to our customers out of our Vancouver facility (28,000sqft). Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

- Manage all aspects of production including scheduling, inventory management, quality control, and equipment maintenance.
- Manage the development and implementation of production plans that optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Manage all aspects of warehousing including inventory, product rotation, and order assembly.
- Manage all aspects of distribution including fleet maintenance, routing, and customer service experience of deliveries.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for employees by enforcing health and safety regulations.
- Ensure that the above meet budgeting and revenue goals, and report on metrics as required.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to optimize production for demand and ensure adequate supply is available.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the identification and implementation of best practices in production processes and workflows.
- Monitor and analyze trends, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure all products are consistent with Centennial Foodservice and HACCP quality standards.
- Communicate performance standards to all staff and ensure they receive proper training, mentoring, and coaching to meet their goals.
- Manage and lead a team of employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising.
- Follow and administer all appropriate safety, sanitation, and Human Resource policies from Centennial Foodservice, WCB, CFIA and HACCP as applicable.
- Develop and maintain positive relations with Union Representatives for the collective wellbeing of the team.
- Be a Brand Champion.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-8 years of supervisory or management experience in a similar operation.
- A combination of experience and education will also be considered.
- Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate or higher-level computer skills - MS Office, ERP (Digiflex, Sage X3 or similar)
