**Position**: Production Assistant

**Location**: Niagara Region

**Metler Metal Solutions** is a leading provider of metal roofing and cladding systems. We are currently seeking a **Production Assistant** to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in fostering customer relationships, managing sales processes, and ensuring the seamless delivery of our top-quality products.

**Your Role**:

- Receive, interpret, and fabricate custom metal trims using CNC metal folder
- Collaborate on trim design and verify with customer satisfaction team if required
- Fulfill production orders through produced trims, picking items from stock, or received goods
- Assemble, package, label, and prepare orders for delivery and pickup
- Load, unload, and delivery of goods
- Ensure seamless coordination between customers, suppliers, and our production team to guarantee timely and accurate product delivery.
- Maintain production equipment according to the maintenance schedule
- General building maintenance including cleaning and yard maintenance
- Establish yourself as a trim expert within Metler, supporting both customers and colleagues.

**You Bring**:

- Exceptional time management and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A commitment to quality, teamwork, and contributing positively to our team dynamic.
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs throughout the day

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience fabricating trims using an aluminum break
- Ability to brainstorm and problem solve within a group setting
- Experienced in operating a fork lift
- Hands-on experience in carpentry or sheet metal work.
- Familiarity with CNC software.
- Knowledge of steel roofing and cladding systems, including the properties of materials like steel, paint, and finishes.
- Experience in communicating design concepts through scale drawings and blueprints.
