Shipper/receiver

MAINWAY is known for superiority when producing complicated prototype parts for a large variety of industries. All tooling is designed in-house using (3-D) VISI software. We take pride in the fact that all the necessary tooling components including custom die shoes are machined in-house using our state-of-the-art CNC equipment.

MAINWAY designers have experience with machine design, automotive progressive dies, die transfer, and part development/prototypes. MAINWAY is the “go to” organization for quality parts, quick turn around and on-time delivery. We have the ability to produce parts of any quantity while strictly adhering to drawing specifications and tolerances. Known for high quality prototype parts, it is a challenge to decipher if those parts were produced off hard tooling. MAINWAY provides a full in-house stamping facility. Presses and feed lines range from 40 Ton to 800 Ton.

MAINWAY's in-house stamping department not only provides our customer with quality parts, it also provides added value, with spot welding, surface coatings, a robotic weld cell and a full assembly line.

**WORK SHIFT**:Monday - Friday, 6AM - 2PM OR 8AM - 4PM

As a Shipper/Receiver, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

**Shipping & Receiving of Material**

• Assisting with the unloading and loading of products
• Receiving coils, components, bins and packaging
• Safe and efficient forklift operation
• Building custom packaging as required
• Safely banding and wrapping materials, dies or parts to be shipped to external locations
• Scheduling of company owned trucks for pick-ups and deliveries
• Arranging for couriers and other 3rd party shipping providers as needed
• Physically delivering and picking up parts as required (via company truck)

**Cross Department Administration**

• Documenting received goods within MAINWAY's Inventory Management System
• Updating accurate records of Finished Goods inventory
• Acknowledging and verifying receipt and shipment of goods by signing and dating packing slips
• Ensuring parts and bins are accurately tagged
• Ensuring product traceability on received and purchased materials
• Creating Purchase Orders for parts that are shipped to external providers
• Ensuring that Shipping/Received Documents are distributed to appropriate personnel
• Assisting with inventory accuracy and upholding FIFO principles

**Maintaining Health and Safety Standards**

• Responsible for Pre-Start-Up Inspection of equipment
• Ensuring that Received Goods are inspected for damage/quantity
• Establish Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) as required
• Maintaining cleanliness / housekeeping of work area
• Adheres to all Health & Safety Rules and Regulations
• Adheres to all Plant Rules and other safe requests from supervisory personnel
• Conducting a circle check of vehicle prior to each use
• Safely operating company vehicles, adhering to all laws, rules and regulations
• Safely and properly palletizing shipments
• other duties as assigned by Operations Manager or President

**You'll will have**

• High School Diploma
• Experience working in shipping/receiving and/or a warehouse environment would be considered an asset
• Knowledge of Health and Safety issues and regulations
• Experience with inventory control and order management software or shipping software would be considered an asset
• Forklift certification would be considered an asset
• Excellent time-management skills
