Since 1928, we've offered unparalleled quality service and customer support, while utilizing the most current technology available to the industry. **Responsibilities**: - Manage the day-to-day operations in the P&D Dispatch Department. - Leads and inspires the City Dispatch Team to achieve operational goals and KPIs. - Planning and forecasting of P&D schedules while improving driver stops per hour & reducing overtime. - Ensure that service levels meet and or exceed the needs of our customers - Conduct review of service challenges and build and implement corrective actions to improve service. - Collaborate with Dock Operations and the Linehaul Team to identify operational efficiencies and effect change as necessary in order to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and cost efficiencies. - Recruit, mentor, and lead by example a group of dispatch supervisors. - Recruit, manage and guide a group of City and Highway Drivers. - Work with Safety and Compliance to maintain driver files & implementing discipline as necessary - Lead City Supervisors in scheduling of equipment for maintenance and repairs. - Ensure Drivers follow Company Safety Policies and Procedures for example: HOS, - Transportation of Dangerous Goods, etc - Hold daily driver meetings to provide training and feedback on customer challenges. - Completion of daily reports - Other duties as assigned **Required Skills**: - 5+ years of experience in Transportation - Experience in a unionized environment would be an asset - Listening, leadership and teamwork skills - Analytical and problem-solving skills - Self-motivated and a desire to continually improve - Energetic, creative thinker with a competitive desire to continually meet goals and exceed expectations **TST-CF Express** is a division of TFI International.
