Possibility Space is seeking an experienced QA Manager to manage and lead our QA discipline in delivering our product to quality. Reporting to the QA Director, you will be working closely with other developers in a distributed, multi-disciplinary development team, advocating for quality at all phases of development.

**Core Responsibilities & Objectives**
- Develop and maintain an overall Project Test Plan over multiple development phases, laying the foundation for how the team will approach different activities, including Validation and Verification testing, Automated Testing, Acceptance testing, and any other test-related activities and ceremonies.
- Provide Career Management and mentorship for a group of FTE QA professionals, providing day-to-day support for emergent needs as well as helping build growth plans for all members of the QA team.
- Work with the QA Director to plan out the QA staffing needs of the project, inclusive of testing, analysis, engineering, and compliance QA, and contribute to defining the overall structure of the Quality Organization both internal to the studio and across the company overall.
- Interface with the project Leadership Team, advocating for the QA discipline and championing product quality.

**Core Traits (Skills, Knowledge, Experience)**
- At least six years of experience in QA, working embedded with feature teams
- At least three years of experience performance and career managing QA professionals, and leading other QA Leaders.
- Proven experience in working in all phases of SDLC.
- Experienced tactical planning for different Quality disciplines, with a deep understanding of how those disparate functions uniquely contribute to delivering a product to quality.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with different testing activities, with the ability to provide accurate estimates of test execution cost.
- Practical understanding of test automation, including high level philosophy/best practices, implementation/maintenance of frameworks, and creation of automated tests.
- Expert level understanding of testing metrics and KPIs, and how to consume that data to make recommendations to improve product quality.

**Bonus Traits**
- Experience in game development.
- Strong Experience in Quality organizations with a shift-left approach.
- ISTQB certification.

**Physical Requirements**
- Close vision to monitors and screens, consistently working on computer equipment such as keyboards, game controllers, and monitors, long periods of sitting.
