Job Title and Location QA Engineer Location & Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days remote), Vancouver, BC Experience: 3 to 5 Years Overview We are hiring for a QA Engineer, and the selected candidate will work on our client’s project focused on building scalable test automation solutions for web applications and cloud-based platforms. You’ll be part of a collaborative QA team working closely with developers and DevOps engineers. Responsibilities Build and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright Collaborate with developers to create robust test plans and acceptance criteria Perform integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for web and API layers Use Python and Pytest for scripting and test automation Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins for automated testing Work with cloud-based test environments on AWS Report, track, and validate defects using standard QA tools Must-Have Skills Strong experience with Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright Proficient in Python with hands-on test automation using Pytest Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD Comfortable working in AWS cloud environments Nice-to-Have Skills Experience testing .NET-based applications Familiarity with API testing tools and techniques Bonus if you have ISTQB certifications About Techedin Techedin is a global IT staffing and technology services firm helping enterprises build high-performance tech teams.
