As our business continues to grow, so does our need for a detail-oriented, dedicated staff to ensure timely delivery of our products. **Responsibilities include**: - Verify invoices, send invoices to customers, and post to accounting system - Generate aged analysis reports as required - Monitor, investigate, and resolve account/billing discrepancies - Prepare/submit time sensitive documents as required - Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions - Engage management over any problematic receivable accounts - Provide A/R and sales support to customers, sales reps, and other departments within the organization - Protect organization value by keeping information confidential - Share account payment observations with sales/merchandising teams on weekly meetings - Proactively following up with payments on pending and outstanding orders - Perform quarterly analysis on all accounts regarding payment execution and credit status - Assist with account reconciliation duties - Perform clerical duties, maintain filing and other duties as assign or request by department and management **Qualifications**: - Posses an Accounting certificate/diploma, or equivalent experience (2+years) in an accounts receivable role and general office administration - Knowledge of general accounting practices - Experience from the têxtile or apparel industry is an asset - Excellent communications skills in English - Ability to speak, read & write Chinese is an asset - Good problem solving skill with the ability to negotiate effectively with clients/vendors - Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof reading skills and follows up with all staffing levels and customers - Experience with customer service and client communication - Positive “can-do” attitude - Detailed, organized individual that can work independently and in a team environment - Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines - Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment - Ability to perform at high levels in fast pace environment **Salary**: $32,000.00-$38,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Casual dress Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - Accounts Receivables: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: One location
