**This is a temporary full-time position that will end on August 29, 2025.**

Reporting to the Client Services Coordinator, this position will be responsible for:

- Answering incoming calls, online requests, and in person inquiries for clients seeking food supports
- Accurately entering client information into our database and scheduling clients to receive food hampers
- Providing general support to the call centre

Our Client Services Team works with a large variety of Food Bank clients from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. The Support Worker will guide these individuals through the client intake process. They will arrange for the provision of food to vulnerable individuals who may be in urgent crisis. They will learn about the other supports available in the community and refer clients to secondary services that may also be able to provide assistance.
- Funding for this position is provided through the Government of Canada Summer Jobs Program. As per funding requirements, applicants must be youth aged 30 or under who are a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act*; and are legally entitled to work in Canada. _**International students are not eligible as per the federal grant requirements.**_

Contract length: 3-4 months

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
