**Overview**

Reporting to the Production Manager, the dispatcher is responsible for keeping track of all materials, stock and equipment that is shipped in and out. The main duties and responsibilities of a dispatcher include Inventory reporting and, verifying and approving shipments (outgoing or incoming).

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and /or sign off on shipping documents (i.e., bills of lading, invoices, etc.)
- Report any damaged stock or equipment to superiors.
- Ensure warehouse workers safely dispose of leftover packing materials or hazardous waste.
- Keep secure records of ingoing and outgoing inventory.
- Pack and unpack materials.
- Maintain quality controlof goods by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Coordinate with warehouse workers to ensure goods are packed, labeled and stored properly.
- Schedule shipments
- Receive all parts that are shipped in, making sure they are received in good condition and packing slips match the part and quantity received.
- Ship orders to internal and external customers in the most efficient manner.
- Prepare shipments and documentation for different warehouses and couriers.
- Verifying items and inspection condition parts.
- Maintain shipping logs.
- Handle all materials (carton, pallets, freight) designated for transport to and from the storage warehouse.
- Track, traces and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by management to meet business needs.
