**About the Role**:
We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager who not only leads the accounting function but also actively contributes to daily operations. This is a role for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves while guiding a small team and improving processes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis to support decision-making.
- Supervise and support accounting staff, providing training and direction.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and internal controls.
- Partner with leadership to improve systems, processes, and reporting.
- Handle complex or high-priority accounting tasks directly (“working manager” approach).

**Required Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Diploma in Accounting/Bookeeping.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting/ERP systems and Excel.
- Ability to balance hands-on accounting work with leadership responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Prior experience working in Business Central
