**Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are readily available.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Record patient medical histories and vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation in patient records.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk responsibilities as needed.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality patient experience.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Tracker is highly desirable.
- Experience in specialized areas such as Orthodontics or Pediatrics is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with patients and staff.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant training is preferred but not mandatory.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.22-$38.94 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
