Resultantly, our fraud prevention strategies must continue to change and evolve to protect our business from the latest threats. Only by doing this can we protect our honest and genuine customers and our business from the financial and societal burden of fraud.

In this new role you will be vital in analyzing and monitoring data to identify fraud by studying the trends in our data, understanding what they mean and taking improvement actions as a result.

What you’ll do

As a Fraud Prevention Analyst you will be accountable for- Reviewing, analyzing and reporting on various fraud prevention tactics deployed across the business.- Conducting further analysis to understand the root cause of changing trends.- Recommending improvements to the existing fraud prevention tactics.- Liaising with other parts of the business to ensure the insights from fraud prevention make valuable contributions across the organization.- Assisting in fraud investigations by providing data driven insights.

What you’ll bring-
- At least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the accountabilities specified.- Experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry is helpful.- Experience working in a fraud or financial crime role is preferred.- 2 to 3 years of work experience in an analytical capacity.- Excellent communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff.- Must have proficiency in applied use of mathematics. Showing the ability to both spot and identify trends and investigate the root cause in the business context.- Knowledge of auto and property insurance underwriting and sales processes is preferred.- Strong presentation skills, you will be required to display results and provide explanations as to their root cause.- Ability to handle and process large amounts of data.- Ability to understand insurance/customer lifecycle and touchpoints.- Critical thinking.- The ability to work independently.- The ability to work cross functionally with other internal partners.
