Our 18-tap draught selection includes a rotating roster of the very best regional beer and cider, supplemented by exciting beers from other provinces and countries. **Our kitchen has a strong and focused technique, combining both traditional and modern ideas to create shareable dishes that pair beautifully with beer.** Our trick is to have fun with it, creating innovative food with a playful approach.

**We offer a fast-paced, but relaxed environment, with a heavy focus on teaching and skill development.**

Summary of responsibilities:

- Prepares a variety of proteins, vegetables and other food items for cooking
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area
- Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
- Handles, stores and rotates all products properly
- Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
- Closes the kitchen, following the closing checklist for kitchen stations
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Head Chef
- Complies with standards of the Ontario Health and Safety codes

**Hourly wage is competitive with industry standard. We offer an above-average tip out with a well-earned meal + beer on the house after each shift.**

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kitchener, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
