**Summary**:
The Operations Manager is primarily responsible for all daily operations of the Hotel while supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operation of all departments. Maintaining high standards of quality, guest and employee satisfaction.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for day-to-day operations of the housekeeping & front office departments which include but not limited to daily room assignments, room inspections.
- Ensure all Brand and Cleanliness standards are met in each guest room and maintained.
- Ensure bi-weekly payroll, Guest Supply inventory is completed, and supply order is placed
- Ensure monthly linen inventory is completed, and linen order is placed.
- Ensure all public areas (includes the exterior of the hotel) are cleaned and maintained on a daily basis.
- Coordinates guestroom and public area (including the exterior of the hotel) maintenance work with the maintenance person.
- Ensures Preventative Maintenance is conducted for all guest rooms and public areas.
- Address guest requests to ensure guests are satisfied with the hotel’s accommodations.
- Reviews and is aware of daily activities taking place in the hotel.
- Assists with group sales coordinating as directed by General Manager.
- Adheres to all safety and emergency procedures.
- Assists in maintaining and implementing all company policies & procedures.
- Fills in for any vacant shifts as needed and assigned by General Manager.
- Performs functions of the General Manager in his or her absence.
- Assists with other duties as well as responsibilities associated with Hotel Operations Manager including but not limited to the above as assigned by General Manager.

**Minimum Qualifications and Skills**
- Post-secondary degree/diploma or equivalent years of relevant work experience required.
- Supervisory experience within hospitality industry.
- Superior customer service skills
- Excellent organizational, communication and prioritization skills.
- Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and guests in a professional manner.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Windows-based software including; MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

**Physical Effort**
- Standing at a computer for long periods of time.
- Frequently walking.
- Performs computer work daily.

**Working Conditions**
- Governed by concurrent and dynamic deadlines, despite conflicting priorities and frequent interruptions.
- Frequently handling of queries and calls from guests, potential guests, and other departments.
- Must be available days, evenings, weekend and holidays as required by scheduling demands.
- May be required to travel.

**Type of Supervision Required**

Reports to the General Manager. Works under general instructions to prioritize and complete assigned tasks.

**Salary**: $42,000.00-$43,500.00 per year
