**This position has a heavy focus on organizational skills and building relationships. **You should be enthusiastic about contributing to your community and developing long-term mutually beneficial working relationships as the primary liaison between our internal customer care and sales teams and our installation team.

- Flexibility is important as overtime work will occasionally be required in order to meet customer needs

**What you will be doing**
- Managing the warehouse working environment, ensuring a clean, organized and safe and secure workplace, following Occupational Health and Safety guidelines along with Office Interiors internal safety procedures
- Leading by example in a safe and diligent manner in order to prevent personal injury or product damage to product
- Providing leadership to the warehouse team to ensure accuracy and achieving objectives, while continuously focusing on process improvements and learning and development
- Regularly monitor min/max, ensuring adequate inventory of regularly stocked items
- Developing and implementing the warehouse schedule for staff, including determining priorities to meet daily, weekly, monthly and annual goals, hiring temporary resources as needed.
- Coordinating scheduling of incoming and outgoing carriers, planning for inbound freight and freight overages into third party storage.
- Supervising the receiving of product into the warehouse to ensure that it is received in good physical condition and damaged product is identified and actioned in a timely manner.
- Supervising the shipping of product to the outsource teams and shipping companies to ensure that the correct product is shipped in a timely manner

**Your Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in a related field preferred and/or equivalent experience (minimum 5-7 years in warehouse environment with 2-3 years supervisory experience)
- Inventory experience
- Strong knowledge of safety legislation and warehouse best practices
- Ability to organize tasks, prioritize work, be flexible and work with mínimal supervision
- Interest and ability to perform strenuous physical activity (lifting up to 75 lbs) safely
- Strong customer service orientation and a team player with an attention to detail
- Solution-focused
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, competently and timely, even under pressure
- Previous forklift experience or willingness to learn
