Medical Office Assistant

Urgently hiring a full-time medical office assistant to work in our medical clinic on a full-time basis 5 days per week.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience working in a medical office and administering IM injections preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Greeting and Registering patients.
- Preparing exam rooms.
- Experience using the EMR system (PS Suite preferred).
- Following physician instructions.
- Multitasking efficiently and effectively.
- Handling referrals, specialist callbacks, and preparing insurance forms.
- Completing a triage of patients (i.e. height/weight, blood pressure, temperature, patient history, urine dips, and pregnancy tests.)
- Taking vitals and preparing immunizations.
- Perform Urine dip testing.
- Filing and handling documentations.
- Ordering vaccines and handling inventory.
- Assisting the physicians with procedures and chaperoning as needed.
- Working as a team player and collaborating with other staff members.
- Complying with all standards, policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
