As a leader within Giorgio Armani Corporation, you will be part of a diverse leadership and sales team, who you will inspire and motivate each day. You will work with the General Manager to support the entire team on driving sales, providing an excellent client experience, building strong talent and ensure the store operates efficiently and effectively. Your ability to combine entrepreneurial spirit, passion for the brand and knowledge of the luxury/retail business with organizational skills to manage the store will greatly influence the client and associate experience.

As a Visual Manager, you will also provide input on visual presentation and merchandising strategies. Your daily presence on the sales floor will provide you the opportunity to understand the business on the front line, and you will have the opportunity to use the insights to improve the store’s business. You will help shape and execute store strategies to build a store environment that represents the brand and provides an excellent client experience to drive revenue. In addition, you will be accountable for ensuring appropriate communications are cascaded throughout the team.

To succeed in this role you are willing to lead by example and with integrity, collaborate, be intellectually curious, strategic, lead through ambiguity and change and results oriented. As the expert in Visual Management, you will also be responsible for driving sales by well-executed and timely strategies, as well as markdown execution and management of all visual collateral and fixtures.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**Drive Results**:

- Drive sales to achieve or exceed sales plans and profitability expectations for the store through strong visual merchandising strategies and provide input into allocation decisions
- Execute merchandising strategies to maximize store sales and create action plans to meet commercial objectives
- Maintain an active leadership presence on sales floor and inspiring a strong sales culture, on an as needed basis
- Advise General Manager on new arrivals and product opportunities to optimize sales performance

**Excellence in Client Experience**
- Ensure visual presentation and store environment represents brand standards and provides an excellent client experience
- Support a client centric sales experience that is representative of the brand and achieves Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), i.e. Conversion and UPT targets

**Talent Management**:

- Responsible for maintaining a positive and energetic team culture, with a high performing sales team
- Knowledgeable of all collections and shares product knowledge (i.e. fit, styling, trends, fabrication, etc.) ensuring team is completely trained
- Responsible for all Visual training programs, including Visual Standards, Floor Set Execution, Business Management with Visual Merchandising Strategies, etc.
- Motivate team through positive feedback and celebrates individual/team accomplishments
- Maintain a frequent cadence for reviewing associate performance and take thoughtful action to quickly hold associates accountable in partnership with the General Manager.

**Visual**:

- Ensure visual merchandising and presentation reflects brand standards and compliance to directives
- Plan, direct, and implement all corporate merchandising directives
- Analyze business to recommend strategic merchandising moves in partnership with the General Manager leveraging business reports and sell-through data
- Ensure the selling floor is neat, clean and organized and reflects the correct visual image
- Manage preparation of merchandise for floor set execution including merchandise maps

**Operational Excellence**:

- Ensure proper and efficient maintenance of all back of house systems inclusive of receiving stock shipments, transfers, markdowns and handling of defective merchandise
- Manage stock capacity in partnership with General Manager and Logistics
- Report variances and adjustments in a timely basis
- Ensure the compliance of all company policies and procedures

**Expense Optimization**:

- Support General Manager in achieving store Profit & Loss results, specifically controllable visual expenses (i.e. maintenance of fixtures and company visual assets, etc.)
- Responsible for working within store labour budget

**Manager-On-Duty**:

- Establish strong Manager-On-Duty (MOD) expectations and analyze business performance by MOD to identify opportunities for growth.
- Acts as the ambassador for the brand and sets this expectation for each store. Creates brand awareness, motivates people, and delivers financial results.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Preferred retail experience in a similar position
- High School diploma/GED preferred
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills and demonstrated passion for working as a team
- Preferred Retail System knowledge
