A Signal Dedicated Guard will conduct static security services for a shopping center in the west end of Ottawa. In this position, the Advanced Dedicated Guard may need to train and mentor new and existing team members. All duties listed below are minimum requirements - additional duties listed in the site’s Post Orders are requirements as well.

**Responsibilities**:

- Will conduct and deliver Dedicated services that reflect the company’s values, expectations, and consistent service in alignment with site expectations/post orders.
- Will write detailed and accurate reports during each shift that serves Client needs and concerns.
- Interacting with internal and external personnel on site and promptly report any pertinent information that to the Dedicated Branch Supervisor.
- Responsible for the care of any Signal equipment assigned during shift including radios, access keys/cards and devices, etc.
- Manage daily activities while meeting key benchmarks and expectations set by the Dedicated Branch Supervisor, such as reporting standards and service quality.
- Communicate with Dedicated Branch Supervisor to receive and disseminate information through daily huddles, such as the Client needs through post orders to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Pass background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- Complete training modules within first month
- Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
- Demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $16.75 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Security: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard Licence (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (required)
