As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary role will be to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to the premises. **Responsibilities**
- Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems.
- Control access points by checking identification and ensuring authorized entry.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities.
- Document incidents and prepare reports as necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.

**Skills**
- Experience in law enforcement or security-related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
- Proficiency in surveillance operations, including the use of CCTV systems.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergencies.
- Physical fitness to perform patrol duties effectively.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Security guard: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard Licence (required)
- Class G Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)
