**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Skilled Lead Installer and Cabinetmaker. In this dual role, you will primarily serve as the Lead Installer, overseeing the installation of all our custom millwork and furniture projects on-site. When not installing, you will contribute to our workshop as a Cabinetmaker, crafting custom cabinetry and furniture to bring our clients’ visions to life.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the installation of custom cabinets, furniture, and millwork at residential and commercial sites, ensuring precision and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with project teams to plan and execute installations according to design specifications and timelines.
- Inspect installation sites, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure flawless integration of pieces into their intended spaces.
- Build and assemble custom cabinets, furniture, and millwork in the workshop based on design specifications when not on-site.
- Select and work with high-quality woods, veneers, laminates, and other materials for both installation and fabrication.
- Operate and maintain woodworking machinery, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure exceptional craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and top-quality finishes in both installations and shop-built products.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to interpret blueprints, sketches, and plans for installation and fabrication.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to safety protocols on-site and in the shop.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior team members when required.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Lead Installer or similar role, with expertise in installing custom millwork and furniture.
- Demonstrated cabinetmaking experience, with a portfolio showcasing your craftsmanship.
- Proficiency in working with various wood species, materials, and installation techniques.
- Expertise in operating woodworking machinery and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and installation instructions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for precision in both installation and fabrication.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving project needs on-site and in the shop.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with experience coordinating with clients and project teams.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
- Valid Ontario G-class driver’s license and reliable transportation.
