Medical Receptionist - Diagnostic Imaging Clinic (Greater Niagara Medical Imaging)

We are looking for an experienced, responsible and knowledgeable individual as a receptionist at our expanding medical imaging facility.

Location: Stratford, Ontario

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Scheduling appointments and preparing patients for their medical imaging procedure
- Registering patients for their procedure
- Scanning and assigning paper work to the radiologists for dictation
- Billing through PACS (selecting appropriate procedures according to the referring physician’s orders and make adjustments if necessary)
- Effectively communicate with technologists, patients, referring physicians and radiologists
- Organize and prioritize tasks at hand
- Follow departmental protocol
- SIMMS program experience, an asset but not required
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Days available are Thursday and Friday
- Cover vacation and sick time
