Maple, Canada Med-Scan Ultrasound Services Ltd. Full time

Med-Scan Ultrasound Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role requires strong customer service and communication skills to work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals and team to provide high-quality patient care.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate with patients via telephone and in person in an efficient and professional manner.
- Communication with physicians and other staff in an efficient and professional manner.
- Handling requests and inquires in a professional and timely manner - to the best of your knowledge.
- Processing requisitions and registering patients for their appointments.
- Entering patient data correctly with highest level of confidentiality.
- Requisitions received from doctors via fax should be dealt with asap. Patients should be called to book appointments, as requested by their doctors.
- File paperwork and documents appropriately.
- Incoming faxes may include physicians inquires, file requests, etc, or other documentation. As some items are time sensitive these must be addressed and completed as soon as possible and, in some cases, immediately.

- Exceptional customer service skills when communicating with patients and patient concerns.
