Ottawa, Canada Lepine Apartments Full time

**As the Manager of the Lepine Distribution Centre Warehouse, you will**:

- Manage an hourly workforce of employees in a fair and equitable manner in accordance with company policies and procedures assessment.
- Coordinate the shipping, receiving, and warehousing of products to ensure all Lepine material orders are shipped on time in accordance with site specifications.
- Manage inventory including material receiving, handling and shipping.
- Maintain inventory management system and make recommendations to streamline operations and improve the inventory maintenance process.
- Coordinate warehouse inventory slotting activities to drive inventory accuracy and warehouse picking/loading efficiency.
- Ensure quality, cleanliness, customer service and company policies and programs are maintained.
- Responsible for executing shipments, creating warehouse tasks and warehouse orders, assessing product availability of orders, update orders as required.
- Provide required operational performance and delivery information to the Manager.
- Occasionally be asked to manually handle heavier material.

**About you**:

- Strong adherence to meeting productivity, quality, and safety standards.
- License to operate a forklift as well as comfort operating material handling machinery.
- Experience in a warehouse and or inventory management environment
- Process oriented, ability to follow protocol and note improvements on processes.
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and communication skills required.
- Applies best practices and seeks out opportunities to improve processes.
- Able to work various shifts and extend working hours whenever required.
- Bilingualism is considered an asset (but not essential).
- DZ license is considered an asset (but not essential).
- Knowledge or a willingness to learn about construction material including mechanical electrical components.
