La Prep is an innovative sandwich, salad, soup and assorted baked goods restaurant concept. We also offer a wide variety of signature coffees. We strive to help diners live well by serving delicious and freshly prepared foods and beverages in an environment that is friendly and welcoming.

We are looking for dedicated and experienced **full-time** and **part-time** **food service attendants **for our Scarborough store, which located at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus (Ellesmere/Morningside). **Students are welcome**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Knowledge of food service and food safety
- Greets, prepares, and serves food and beverage orders
- Prepares table for service, keeps work area clean and properly stocked
- Ensures all food and beverage items meet company standards prior to delivery/service
- Thorough knowledge of the menu, up selling menu items and beverages as per company standards
- Cashier, food preparation, beverage making.

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Pleasant manner and excellent communication skills (written and spoken English)
- Thorough and detailed oriented
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Must have a valid Canadian Work Permit
- Experience in a fast-paced working environment

**Salary**: $15.5~$17/hour, depending on experience and performance.

Licenses or certifications (preferred):

- Food Handler
- Smart Serve

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal

**Salary**: $15.50-$17.00 per hour

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
