**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience for our customers by ensuring that their needs are met promptly and accurately.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders with a positive attitude.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately.
- Handle cash and credit card payments, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service counter and dining area.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure proper food handling practices are adhered to.
- Provide information about menu items, daily specials, and promotions to customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints effectively.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and order accuracy.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Proficiency in cashiering and operating POS systems.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
