**Reports to**:Head of Operations - Canada

**Supervises**:Housekeeping Supervisor, Cleaners, Maintenance Technicians

**Job Summary**:

- Responsible for scheduling employees, hiring, and training new staff, inspecting equipment and facilities, to guarantee appropriate safety and adequate maintenance of the properties we have in our portfolio.

**Job Duties**:

- Coordinates tasks and scheduling of housekeeping, maintenance, and third-party vendors
- Assigns non-scheduled and unexpected tasks as required.
- Verifies and evaluates completed jobs.
- Purchases and maintains spare parts and housekeeping inventory.
- Coordinates with vendors for repairs and services.
- Processes invoices on company expense software.
- Investigate and determine the billable party for services.
- Establishes and maintains property files.
- Works closely with Guest Experience, Owner Experience and Housekeeping/ Maintenance teams to ensure completion of assigned tasks.
- Managing out of service log.
- Managing equipment master list.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

**Leadership**:

- Conduct performance appraisals and give continuous feedback to the team, guiding them in their daily tasks, aligned with the Upstay’s culture and values.

**OH&S**:

- Actively participate and contribute with the improvement of company procedures and processes.
- Follow all Upstay’s procedures and guidelines and applicable law and regulations.
- Promote a professional and cooperative working environment, based on mutual respect and trust.
- Promote safe behaviour in the workplace.

**Job Requirements**:

- **Experience**: 5 years of housekeeping/property management experience and 3 years leading teams.
- **Education**: college diploma (preferably).
- **Other qualifications**: Available to work flexible shifts days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence. Fluent in both written and oral English.

- Must pay great attention to detail, be organized, and effectively manage time.
- Able to think clearly in pressure situations, exercise good judgement and use creative solutions.
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly interpersonal; comfortable engaging with vendors, and team members.

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
