IESVic is known for its vibrant culture with many alumni active in energy technology innovation, policy development, and sustainability initiatives. Reporting to the Director (D), the Administrative Coordinator (AC) has an integral role in the administration of IESVic. The AC ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of a thriving interdisciplinary research centre and contributes to the strategic direction and implementation of centre programs and projects. The AC is actively involved in strategic and budget planning administration of the centre’s annual operating budget, research grants, contracts and partnership agreements, human resources, centre operations communications and event coordination. The AC directly supervises the centre's secretarial staff person and indirectly supervises grant funded administrative staff. - Job Requirements This position requires a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to an undergraduate degree plus a minimum of 4 years of related operational, budget and financial administration, communications and events experience in an academic (or equivalent) environment.
